Job Description:
The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for checking figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes. They will organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. The role involves recording, storing, accessing, and/or analyzing computerized financial information, maintaining accurate electronic spreadsheets, and classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data. The clerk will also prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables, complete period-end closing procedures, and prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements. Additional responsibilities include following company policies, maintaining professional appearance, protecting company assets, addressing guests' service needs, and performing other duties as requested by supervisors.
