This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to manage high-volume financial transactions and payroll processing in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively handle accounts payable and payroll tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Job Responsibility:
Handle complete accounts payable processes, including data entry, coding, invoice matching, and check runs for up to 200 invoices weekly
Process bi-weekly payroll for a workforce of up to 500 employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments while adhering to company policies
Maintain and update financial records, reconciling any discrepancies to ensure proper documentation
Address inquiries related to invoices and payroll, providing timely solutions to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures in all accounting and payroll activities
Collaborate with internal teams to support financial operations and improve efficiency
Utilize accounting and payroll software to streamline processes and improve accuracy
Monitor financial transactions to ensure adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements
Prepare reports and documentation as needed to support audits and financial reviews
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in both accounts payable and payroll functions
Proficiency in using accounting and payroll software to manage high-volume transactions
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with account reconciliation and invoice processing
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams
Excellent problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently
Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business is preferred but not mandatory
