We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join a team in Columbus, Ohio in a contract to permanent position. This opportunity is well suited for someone beginning their accounting career who can support daily financial tasks while also assisting with general office needs. Job Responsibility

  • Process invoices accurately and enter financial information into company records in a timely manner
  • Support accounts receivable activities by tracking payments, updating account details, and helping resolve routine discrepancies
  • Perform high-volume data entry with close attention to accuracy and completeness
  • Provide administrative assistance as needed, including handling general clerical tasks that support the broader team
  • Help monitor inventory records and assist with maintaining organized, up-to-date stock information
  • Use Microsoft Excel to manage spreadsheets, organize data, and complete basic reporting tasks
  • Contribute to day-to-day accounting operations by assisting with recordkeeping and other assigned support duties.

Requirements

  • Prior experience or training in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related administrative support role
  • Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes and invoice handling
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Beginner-level Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with basic formulas and spreadsheets
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing daily priorities
