Job Description:

As an Accountant Associate at EDP Renewables Polska, you will be responsible for supporting the work related to the General Accounting process of the Global Business Service, particularly the accounting process of renewable generation companies in Poland (wind and solar).

Job Responsibility:

Keeping accounting records in the SAP system (invoices/purchases, fixed assets, sales, accruals and deferrals)
Accounts reconciliation
Monthly analysis of trial balances
Accounting, monitoring and control of financial investments
Provision of accounting information to support tax assessments
Preparation and analysis of the annual accounts/financial statements of companies
Control of the balances and transactions between the Group's companies
Preparation of information for internal control and audits
Participate in projects and collaborate with the various areas of the organization
Provide solution to standardize, automate, improve and simply processes/procedures
Issue and post sales invoices

Requirements:

University Degree (Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, management, accounting, finance or similar)
6 to 10 years professional experience
Mastery of Office tools
English – advanced level
Polish – proficient

Nice to have:

Knowledge of IFRS Standards
Knowledge of Polish GAAP / Accounting standards
Practical knowledge of the SAP system (FI, AA, MM, SD modules)
Knowledge of Power Query or other automation tools
