Job Description:

As an Accounting Assistant you will be a part of the accounting team and work in our processes for daily accounting, customer invoicing, maintaining master data in financial systems, ledger administration, treasury activities and monthly closures including account reconciliations. You will also participate in projects and work on continuous improvements of our processes to gain efficiency and quality in our deliveries to support the business and stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to impact the accounting department work for tomorrow through structuring and visualizing data in Power BI tool.

Job Responsibility:

Work in processes for daily accounting, customer invoicing, maintaining master data in financial systems, ledger administration, treasury activities and monthly closures including account reconciliations
Participate in projects and work on continuous improvements of processes
Structuring and visualizing data in Power BI tool

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in economics or a related field (Three years of university studies)
Solid understanding of Excel functionalities and experience in creating spreadsheets
Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting
Knowledge and experience with Swedish accounting practices and standards
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Nice to have:

Experience from working with financial systems (we use Unit4 (Coda), Basware, Microsoft NAV)
Fluent in Swedish to comply with local legislation
Several years of working experience from an accounting-/finance department
