We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our team in Santa Clara, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will contribute to essential accounting and administrative tasks while supporting various departments within the organization. This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare industry and enhance your skills.
Job Responsibility:
Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized records for accounting purposes
Prepare invoices and manage billing processes for clients in a timely manner
Assist with basic accounting functions, including entering transactions into QuickBooks
Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure proper coding of invoices
Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and ad hoc assignments
Maintain clear communication with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow
Contribute to document preparation and file management to support administrative needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, office administration, biology, life sciences, or a related field
0–1 year of administrative or accounting experience

Familiarity with QuickBooks, either through coursework or hands-on experience
Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have the ability to work onsite in Santa Clara, California
Nice to have:
Bilingual Mandarin skills are a plus but not mandatory
Knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations is preferred
