We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Martinsville, Indiana. This role involves supporting accounting operations through accurate data entry and financial record management. The position is for a duration of 2-4 weeks and requires working onsite Monday through Friday.
Job Responsibility:
Perform high-volume data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date
Utilize QuickBooks for accounting and financial tracking purposes
Accurately code invoices and verify transaction details
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless accounting processes
Maintain organized financial records to support reporting and audits
Assist with other accounting-related tasks as needed during the contract period
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
Ability to handle large volumes of data with high attention to detail
Familiarity with bank reconciliations and invoice coding
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the team
Ability to work onsite during standard business hours
