We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Dos Palos, California. Job Responsibility:
Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records and databases
Provide administrative support by organizing documents, managing filing systems, and maintaining office efficiency
Coordinate the preparation and posting of updates to the company's website
Deliver and collect documents and materials as needed to support daily operations
Offer certified notary services and ensure compliance with relevant standards
Prepare materials for board meetings, post meeting notices, and assist with scheduling and setup
Help plan and coordinate company events, conferences, and travel arrangements
Troubleshoot and resolve basic office equipment and technical issues
Take on additional administrative tasks and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related accounting functions
Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
Skilled in using Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Valid notary certification or willingness to obtain one
Comfortable with occasional travel for document delivery and pickups
Nice to have:
