Job Description:

Accounting and Reporting Team Leader role at IKEA supporting Record to Report specialists and wider accounting team, responsible for team development, process improvement, and business partnership in accounting matters.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the development of the team to secure the right competences, performance and succession
Support the team with specific accounting and reporting related questions
Secure team works according to the A&R manual and local GAAP
Develop, implement and continuously improve effective and efficient Accounting & Reporting processes and routines
Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities
Support relevant functions as a trustful and professional business partner in Accounting & Reporting matters
Contribute to business plan process and set clear goals and action plan
Coordinate and/or support internal and external audit
Contribute to local and global projects from A&R perspective
Secure and maintain connection with core areas, business owners, group functions, process teams

Requirements:

Proven skills in providing support, coaching and training within a large team
Experience as a strategic, tactical and operational business partner
Strong analytical skills
Ability to translate business needs into financial consequences and solutions
Solid understanding of sales and cash reconciliation processes
Senior accountant experience
Knowledge of how to assess, analyse and mitigate risks in a business environment
