Job Responsibility:

  • Actively contribute to the day-to-day and month-end, quarter-end and year-end books close process (incl. but not limited to recording of accruals/prepaids, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts etc)
  • Investigating full balance sheet and profit and loss variances against different benchmarks and providing variance analysis and associated explanations as part of the books closing process
  • Actively supporting the preparation of VAT, tax returns and other regulatory reporting
  • Involvement in the annual audit process and preparation of the annual financial statements
  • Collaborate with external parties as may be required
  • Actively contributing to improvement initiatives, standardization, re-engineering of processes and controls, and implementation of best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or economics
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with an emphasis on accounting and financial reporting, preferably gained within a Big Four firm and / or a multinational organization
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Detail-oriented, and the ability to produce high quality work product within the deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-growing and dynamic environment, especially in industries that are undergoing rapid digit transformation

Nice to have:

  • Working towards an ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification
  • SAP S4 Hana knowledge will be considered an asset
