Join Our Client's Team as an Accounting Analyst Our client is seeking dynamic Accounting Analysts to enhance their financial operations. As a pivotal member of our client's team, you will ensure precise revenue recognition and billing by meticulously reviewing and interpreting sales contracts. Your role will involve translating complex contractual terms into actionable accounting and billing requirements, while collaborating closely with Sales, Legal, and Billing teams. Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze sales contracts and related documents to comprehend pricing, billing terms, and revenue recognition implications
  • Convert contract terms into clear accounting and billing instructions, adhering to company policies and accounting standards
  • Collaborate with Client Care and Billing teams to ensure accurate contract setup in billing systems and timely invoice issuance
  • Maintain alignment between revenue recognition profiles and billing setups
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between contract terms, billing schedules, and invoicing outcomes
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, and Finance to clarify contract language and address complex deal structures
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities related to revenue and billing adjustments
  • Assist with audits by providing contract analysis and documentation
  • Document contract review conclusions and maintain organized records for compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting, revenue operations, billing, or contract review
  • Proficiency in interpreting legal and financial contract language
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to non-finance partners

Nice to have:

  • Experience with sales contracts, MSAs, or SaaS agreements
  • Familiarity with ASC 606, IFRS 15, or other revenue recognition frameworks
  • Experience with ERP and billing systems like Oracle, SAP, or Salesforce
