Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Analyst to support the Finance Department in the analysis of the financial statements of several divisions within the company. This versatile position, ideal for a structured and proactive professional, offers the opportunity to make a concrete impact in a hybrid, collaborative and stimulating environment.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, analyze variances and support decision-making
Perform month-end accounting entries (depreciation, prepaid expenses, etc.)
Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Enter and code customer invoices for various business lines (vehicles, events, catering)
Monitor accounts receivable, vehicle sales and events
Manage the production of sales tax returns and year-end tax documents
Collaborate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Maintain rigorous and structured accounting documentation
Support internal stakeholders with reliable and relevant financial data

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting
Bilingual French/English, written and spoken
Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Sage 50 / Simply Accounting (an asset)
Experience with ERP implementation (an asset)
Strong analytical skills, rigor, autonomy and team spirit
Interest in or knowledge of the automotive industry: an advantage
