Job Description:

On behalf of our client, a globally recognized tech leader and one of Europe’s fastest-growing firms—we are seeking a versatile Accounting & Administration Officer. This is more than just a desk job. You will join the ramp-up phase of a brand-new factory environment in Belgium. You won't just be managing numbers; you will be laying the foundation for HR and administrative processes from scratch. This is a high-visibility role where your initiative directly impacts the success of a major industrial project.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage daily bookkeeping and accurate data entry within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
  • Support inventory accounting and perform warehouse stock reconciliations
  • Handle customer and supplier invoicing, including processing via the PEPPOL network
  • Assist with monthly/annual closings and ensure compliant Intrastat declarations
  • Collaborate closely with warehouse operations on financial and cost-related matters
  • Build and maintain the local HR administration in line with Belgian labor law
  • Act as the local point of contact for social legislation, benefits, and absences
  • Liaise with external payroll providers, HR advisors, and social secretariats
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding and contract management
  • Support internal audits and ensure overall administrative compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a combined finance/admin role
  • Solid knowledge of Belgian accounting, VAT, and social legislation
  • Strong experience with ERP systems
  • Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 is a significant advantage
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • A good command of Dutch and/or French is a strong asset for local coordination
  • Proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced pioneer environment
