You will join a friendly finance team of 6, with strong mentorship available and clear scope to develop your career over time.
Job Responsibility:
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end reporting
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare month end journal entries including accruals, prepayments and other trial balance movements
Undertake detailed cost analysis in partnership with operational teams
Maintain the fixed asset register
Support the preparation of weekly cashflows
Assist with the year end audit process
Support the preparation of budgets and variance analysis
Support continuous improvement across controls and finance processes
Requirements:
Part-qualified, newly qualified (ICAS, ACCA, or CIMA) or qualified by experience
Confident with Excel and comfortable across Microsoft Office (Outlook and PowerPoint included)
Strong on detail, analytical by nature and able to problem solve
Comfortable working to deadlines and communicating well across the business
Relevant month end exposure looking to progress in a growing organisation or someone working in practice looking to make their first move to industry
Nice to have:
Variance analysis experience would be beneficial
