Accountant

• Monthly Financial Closings: Assist in preparing accurate monthly financials for all entities, ensuring journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals are done accurately and on time
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and legal requirements. Prepare analytical reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis and report to the CBS and DNB. Handle legal documents and assist with internal and external audits
• Treasury Management: Monitor cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and act as the main point of contact for payments, extraordinary requests, and supplier inquiries
• Taxation: Assist with monthly tax returns (VAT, Intrastat) and support the tax department with ad-hoc queries
• Collaboration: Work closely with department heads and stakeholders to collect and validate financial data, ensuring all deadlines are met with accuracy and compliance

• A full professional accounting qualification (e.g., BCom, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent in business administration or finance
• 3 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a strong understanding of key accounting principles
• Proficiency in financial software and systems, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP)
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions
• Accuracy and attention to detail, especially when it comes to reconciliations, data entry, and reporting
• Team player with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
