This Accountant role is ideal for a technically strong, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a multinational, deadline‑driven environment and is comfortable working across jurisdictions, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks. You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and tax obligations for entities across Singapore and China, while supporting reporting to our US Parent under US GAAP. Primary Objective To contribute to the company's vision by delivering timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting and taxation outcomes, supported by robust reconciliation processes, strong internal controls, and continuous improvement in financial governance.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and deliver financial reporting to the US Parent entity under US GAAP, meeting strict head-office deadlines
Support statutory reporting for Singapore and China, including preparation of financial statements and coordination of external audits
Maintain accurate and complete general ledgers, ensuring high standards of data integrity and documentation
Ensure tight balance sheet control, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and reconciling items
Promote and maintain a strong internal controls environment across the finance team
Identify and resolve issues proactively to reduce risk and improve reporting quality
Assist with technical accounting reviews, position papers, and the correct treatment of: New revenue streams
Property acquisitions
Non-routine and complex transactions
Manage Singapore taxation obligations, including: Corporate income tax
VAT and withholding tax
Transfer pricing documentation
Tax compliance support and technical research
Support US corporate tax deliverables in collaboration with regional and global stakeholders
Coordinate payroll inputs and liaise with external payroll consultants to ensure timely and accurate processing
Partner with IT teams to support finance system enhancements and improvements
With the VP Finance, update and maintain finance policies and procedures as processes evolve
Review existing and new processes to remove waste, reduce cost, improve quality, and support scalable growth
Share best practices within and across business segments
Adhere to all Workplace Health & Safety requirements, promoting a safe and respectful workplace

Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or equivalent
CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification
Experience in a multinational or listed reporting environment
Proven capability in statutory reporting and income tax compliance
Strong understanding of balance sheet ownership, controls, and reconciliations
Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Nice to have:
Experience across both public practice and commercial environments
Exposure to US GAAP reporting
Experience working with multiple jurisdictions (e.g. Singapore, China)
Confidence supporting audits and interacting with external advisors
