Accountant

• Conduct detailed reconciliations for accounts such as travel, training, and other expenses
• Review transactions to ensure proper payment timing and accurate general ledger recording
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items to maintain financial accuracy
• Prepare and submit monthly reclassifications and assist with bank billing and parsers
• Support budget and forecasting activities, including uploading budgets to relevant systems
• Provide direct support to internal finance leaders by addressing budget and forecast-related inquiries
• Update and maintain procedural documentation to keep records accurate and current
• Ensure invoice documentation is correctly archived using designated systems
• Assist with month-end financial close processes and other duties as needed to meet organizational goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, agricultural business, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Proficiency in general ledger systems and cash management processes
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite
• Strong organizational abilities to compile and analyze financial data effectively
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently despite interruptions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for collaborating with peers, supervisors, and clients
• Familiarity with banking operations, products, and services is preferred
• All candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment.
