Job Description:

General Accountant position at The St. Regis Belgrade, responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation according to company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents
Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information
Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data
Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports
Complete period-end closing procedures and reports
Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices
Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash
Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances
Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
Strong knowledge of local statutory regulations
