We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Burlington, New Jersey and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations. Job Responsibility:
Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
Manage accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing, payment tracking, and resolving discrepancies
Handle accounts payable functions, such as processing invoices and maintaining vendor records
Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate account balances
Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording transactions and making necessary adjustments
Collaborate with other team members to support month-end and year-end financial close processes
Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial procedures
Provide support for audits and other financial reviews as needed
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including payroll processing
Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
Strong understanding of journal entries and bank reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
Familiarity with accounting software and tools
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial operations
