Job Description:

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with experience in grant accounting and cost tracking to join our finance team. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of federal, state, and private grants, ensuring compliance with 2 CFR 200 and other regulations, and preparing accurate, timely reports for both internal and external stakeholders. Candidates should have at least five years of accounting experience (including two in public accounting), a strong grasp of cost accounting, and proven expertise using NetSuite ERP.

Job Responsibility:

Managing the full lifecycle of federal, state, and private grants
Ensuring compliance with 2 CFR 200 and other regulations
Preparing accurate, timely reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

Minimum of five years of accounting experience, with at least two years in public accounting
Proficiency in grant accounting and managing the financial lifecycle of grants
Strong knowledge of NetSuite and other financial systems
Familiarity with federal grant regulations, including 2 CFR 200
Experience with grant invoicing portals and indirect cost rate calculations
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and data analysis
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
