We are looking for an Accountant (Middle career level) to become part of the Airbus Defence and Space Romania team. Mission: As part of the Accounting team, your mission will be in the finance team, for responsibility and accountability in the area of invoicing to the customers (internal and external ones), including the transmission of the invoices via Romanian e-Factura portal. This position will require security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
Job Responsibility:
Register accurate and timely accounting bookings in the entity accounting system
Support month-end and year-end close process, financial audit and any tax audit, if case
Verify documents issued or received and their compliance with the effective laws, procedures and group requirements
Ensure that all transactions are accounted for in accordance with local regulations
Issue invoices to the customers (internal and external ones), including the transmission of the invoices via Romanian e-Factura portal
Create database for all the invoices issued by the legal entity, create reports and send overviews to all departments which are subject to invoicing, corrects any discrepancy and follows on the open items in the area
Coordinate the activity related to input data for invoicing from all departments, considering process timelines and data quality of invoices
Take full accountability to correct any issue after the invoicing, by working with data providers and data receivers in a timely and qualitative manner
Archive finance documents
Support Accounting manager/Chief Financial Officer in issuing reports as per group and local legislation requirements
Requirements:
University graduated. Economic/Accounting field (CECCAR would be a plus)
Relevant and proven experience of minimum 3 years in accounting
Previous experience working with strict deadlines, rules and regulations
Knowledge of and experience with: Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Language skills: Advanced level of English.
