Job Description

As Accountant at NTS Singapore, you will be responsible for maintaining the full set of accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS standards. You will play a crucial role in our Finance team, handling day-to-day accounting operations while supporting strategic financial planning and analysis. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will ensure timely month-end closings, prepare management reports, and contribute to process improvements that enhance our financial operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintain full set of accounts and ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and forecast in accordance with IFRS accounting standards
  • Prepare monthly management reports including current month's closing results and 3-month forecasts
  • Reconcile intercompany balances/transactions and ensure account reconciliations are performed and reviewed
  • Prepare weekly cashflow reports, bank reconciliations and journal entries
  • Handle annual audit coordination and work with tax agents for annual filing and GST submissions
  • Assist in new processes and system implementation to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Guide and manage a team of Accounts Executive

Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent in Accounting with Accounting Professional qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounting and Finance functions
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting and finance principles and practices, with experience in project costing and accruals
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems in general - Navision and SAP knowledge is helpful
  • Team player with confidence and maturity to work efficiently with different levels in the organization
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor team members
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
