Job Description:

We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in St Helens, Oregon, on a contract basis. This role requires someone who is proactive and capable of managing various accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Ideal candidates will thrive in a dynamic environment and be comfortable collaborating with the Senior Accountant to maintain seamless financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Address and resolve accounting-related inquiries, taking initiative to troubleshoot and provide solutions as needed
Handle requests for invoice or receipt copies in a timely and organized manner
Process credit card payments accurately and ensure proper documentation
Input new customer information into the accounting system when required
Make outbound calls to collect overdue accounts receivable and maintain clear and effective communication
Support the Senior Accountant with additional tasks as they arise, contributing to team efficiency

Requirements:

Proven experience in general ledger, accounts receivable management and collections
Familiarity with handling invoice copies and credit card payment processing
Strong communication skills for answering inbound calls and making collections-related calls
Ability to manage credit card receipts and maintain accurate records
Self-motivated with the ability to troubleshoot and take initiative in resolving issues
