Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Accountant is to record accurate transactions in the accounting systems and assist in the month-end processes. To provide reporting and other support to stakeholders as per needs basis. This position offers an overview understanding of business processes and various areas of financial accounting, including forecasting and budgeting.

Job Responsibility:

Embrace Teamwork within own department and across the business
Develop and build strong working relationships with colleagues across the LHH business to support the achievement of company objectives
To live and promote values and mindsets of LHH business
Comply with the organization’s certified Management Systems including applicable responsibilities for Quality, Information Security, and Health & Safety
Month end P&L, Balance Sheet reporting and analysis
Preparing accurate sales reporting
Other ad hoc duties to support the finance team and broader business

Requirements:

Tertiary qualified in an accounting or business degree
Part qualified CA or CPA
Advanced Excel skills, proficient in Word and PowerPoint
Experience in MSD or similar accounting system is preferred but not necessary
Ability to work autonomously and in a team
Fluent in English

Nice to have:

Experience in MSD or similar accounting system
Ability to build strong relationships
Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to a fast-changing environment
Ability to communicate financial ideas to non-financial colleagues
Sound knowledge of organizational accounting procedures
