As an Accountant at Pave Bank, you’re more than a number-cruncher; you’ll be at the heart of our financial ecosystem, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strategic insight in everything we do. Job Responsibility:

  • Create accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually, or as and when required) and ensure flawless reconciliation.
  • Analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and turn numbers into actionable strategies that drive business decisions.
  • Prepare statutory filings/ad hoc reports and submit to National Bank of Georgia and other regulators as required, ensuring we meet every requirement with precision and timeliness.
  • Lead annual and interim audits, championing transparency and compliance.
  • Be a Business Partner across teams such as Tech, Product, Treasury and beyond to build a robust financial framework that supports our growth.
  • Keep us aligned with company policies and government regulations, ensuring every transaction is as clean as it is compliant.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or related professional qualification, showcasing your expertise (CA, ACCA, etc)
  • Strong knowledge in International Financial Reporting Standards especially IFRS 9 and financial instruments
  • At least 3-4 years of experience in Big 4 Accounting Firms - bonus points for fintech or financial services exposure!
  • Advanced Excel skills (including macros and Power Query) and the ability to handle large data sets like a pro.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment without breaking a sweat.
  • A sharp eye for detail, paired with an innovative and solution-driven mindset.
  • A love for teamwork but the confidence to work independently with tight deadlines and minimum supervision when needed.
