Sportradar is currently seeking a high-performing Associate Accountant to support its growing US business. This individual will be responsible for supporting the US accounting activities of the organization. The candidate will possess knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS principles as well as a solid background in Sarbanes-Oxley. THE CHALLENGE: Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations; Proactive P&L analysis and cost control; Provide technical expertise regarding accounting transactions; Perform ongoing financial control functions in accordance with the Sportradar internal control policies; Support of the annual audit process including walkthroughs and evidence gathering for external auditors and the group accounting department; Assist with various ad-hoc accounting projects and analysis as needed. ABOUT YOU: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA is a plus; 2-3 years of increasing accounting experience, preferably working with Microsoft Dynamics; Drive and Initiative – establishes aggressive goals and drives for results, readily puts in extra time and effort, tackles problems and works to resolve them, and establishes high performance; Establishes Trust – Treats people fairly, shows consistency between words and actions, and accepts responsibility for own mistakes; Adaptability – responds resourcefully to new demands and challenges, works effectively in ambiguous situations, and adapts behavior in response to feedback and experience.
