We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Waukegan, Illinois. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate records. Job Responsibility:
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions
Utilize accounting software systems to maintain financial records and generate reports
Conduct audits to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial regulations
Prepare and analyze balance sheet accounts to support financial decision-making
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting functions and improve efficiency
Assist in the implementation and management of ERP systems to optimize financial operations
Process payments and expense reports through Concur to maintain accurate tracking
Review financial data and reports for accuracy and consistency
Support the preparation of financial statements and documentation for external audits
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial practices and controls
Requirements:
Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools
Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Experience with Concur for expense management and reporting
Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in financial operations
Expertise in auditing practices and ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Ability to analyze and interpret balance sheet accounts
Solid understanding of general accounting functions and principles
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
