This staff role sits within a small, dynamic team, and will be based at their Aberlour HQ. Working closely with the management and other departments, you will support the accounting team and additional business units.
Job Responsibility:
Financial reporting and compliance
Journal posting
Management accounting
Preparation of the annual budget
Fixed Asset Register maintenance
recording additions, disposals, depreciation calculation, and posting of journals
Support with the year end audit
Produce the reporting pack to disclose VOWD and costs per customer
Complete weekly operations costings for key cost centres
Insurance Administration and Support
Utilities Management
Environmental reporting
Prepare internal reports for Directors as required
Requirements:
Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CA/CIMA) or qualified by experience
Strong technical skills and proven track record of accounts preparation
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Achieving deadlines and interacting with key stakeholders
Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software programs is essential
Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
