This position has been opened to support ongoing consolidation, reporting, and month-end close activities within the Rapid Diagnostics finance organization. The resource will be a key contributor to the finance team, partnering closely with operational stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvement. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented accounting professional who can independently manage complex accounting processes while also mentoring junior staff.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and variance analysis
Prepare and review journal entries and support month-end close activities
Own and prepare assigned account reconciliations with a deep understanding of financial statement impacts
Conduct and document complex financial and accounting processes, including data validation
Partner with internal customers to develop strong business and operational knowledge
Interpret financial results independently using analytical and statistical techniques
Present financial reporting and variance explanations to leadership and key stakeholders
Support ad hoc analysis, special projects, and complex accounting initiatives
Assist with internal and external audits, including financial and tax audits
Document and monitor internal controls to support audit readiness
Review the work of junior staff and provide training and mentorship
Identify, recommend, and drive process improvements across accounting workflows.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required (CPA or MBA preferred)
5+ years of progressive accounting experience required
Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and month-end close processes
Experience with SAP preferred
exposure to business analytics tools is a plus
Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and structured environment
Demonstrated attention to detail, accountability, and ability to manage ambiguity
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
