This Accountant role is ideal for a technically strong, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a multinational, deadline‑driven environment and is comfortable working across jurisdictions, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks. You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and tax obligations for entities across Singapore and China, while supporting reporting to our US Parent under US GAAP. Primary Objective To contribute to the company's vision by delivering timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting and taxation outcomes, supported by robust reconciliation processes, strong internal controls, and continuous improvement in financial governance.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and deliver financial reporting to the US Parent entity under US GAAP
Support statutory reporting for Singapore and China
Maintain accurate and complete general ledgers
Ensure tight balance sheet control
Promote and maintain a strong internal controls environment
Assist with technical accounting reviews
Manage Singapore taxation obligations
Coordinate payroll inputs and liaise with external payroll consultants
Partner with IT teams to support finance system enhancements
Update and maintain finance policies and procedures
Review existing and new processes to remove waste, reduce cost, improve quality, and support scalable growth
Adhere to all Workplace Health & Safety requirements
Demonstrate CARE, integrity, innovation, and leadership
Communicate effectively, respect peers and leaders, and support others to succeed
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or equivalent
CPA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification
Experience in a multinational or listed reporting environment
Proven capability in statutory reporting and income tax compliance
Strong understanding of balance sheet ownership, controls, and reconciliations
Excellent communication and stakeholder-engagement skills
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Nice to have:
Experience across both public practice and commercial environments
Exposure to US GAAP reporting
Experience working with multiple jurisdictions (e.g. Singapore, China)
Confidence supporting audits and interacting with external advisors
