Accountant

• batch incoming receivables and gather transactions for streamlined processing
• ensure AR entries are complete, accurate, and free of duplication
• conduct routine cash reviews and assist in maintaining internal controls around receivables
• analyze and improve existing transaction tracking systems
• maintain accurate records for reporting and audit purposes
• collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve efficiency
• provide reporting and support to leadership on AR trends and performance
• support procurement-related accounting tasks when needed, including PO tracking and expense reconciliation
• assist with preparation of documentation during audits

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• strong background in accounts receivable, preferably in a non-profit environment
• experience with batching, transaction review, and cash tracking
• high attention to detail and organizational skills
• familiarity with general ledger coding and nonprofit financial structure is a plus
• proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
• strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
