We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will handle essential financial tasks, including managing accounts receivable, maintaining accurate records, and supporting audits. This position requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively across departments and ensure compliance with company policies.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee accounts receivable processes, including issuing invoices, posting payments, conducting reconciliations, and addressing outstanding balances
Prepare and accurately maintain general ledger entries using accounting software
Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Assist in the creation of financial reports and internal schedules
Provide documentation and support during audits to ensure compliance
Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records in alignment with company policies
Collaborate with senior leadership and various departments on financial matters and strategies
Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
A minimum of 2-5 years of detail-oriented accounting experience
Proven expertise in managing accounts receivable processes
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial work
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a smaller organizational setting
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Nice to have:
Experience with specific accounting software is a plus
