Job Description

This highly diversified company manufactures lumber, plywood and value-added wood products at plants on Vancouver Island and in the B.C. Interior; manages a large sales group that markets forest products around the world; and has a growing trucking business. An accounting opportunity is currently available at the company’s head office in Chemainus, B.C. on Vancouver Island. This area is considered one of Canada’s best lifestyle locations with residence at sea-side locations like Chemainus, Duncan and Ladysmith.

Job Responsibility

Provide financial leadership to one or more of the company’s growing divisions

Requirements

  • Accounting designation preferred
  • Persons at senior levels of the designation program are also encouraged to apply
  • Experience in wood products manufacturing, forest products sales operations, or the trucking transportation industry is ideal but not essential
  • A work-place style that is respectful of others and working to be part of the 'solution'
