Job Description:

An Accountant role at Sheraton Grand Tel Aviv with responsibilities in financial analysis, maintaining records, auditing reports, and customer/vendor accounts. Requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and at least one year of related experience. Part of the global Marriott International team.

Job Responsibility:

Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents
Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information
Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data
Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute financial reports and tables
Complete period-end closing procedures and reports
Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices
Prepare daily consolidated cash deposits
Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all cash variances
Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
