We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (F-TEP) team in DFW! F-TEP is a full-time, salaried consulting role for accounting and finance professionals who enjoy project-based work, quick learning, and impactful assignments. As part of the team, you’ll step into meaningful initiatives such as: Month-end close support; Audit prep and cleanup; System implementations; Reporting and variance analysis; Backfilling roles during transitions. You’ll gain experience across multiple industries, teams, and systems — all while building a uniquely valuable, well‑rounded accounting toolkit.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including managing accounts payable and receivable, vendor invoicing, collections, and reconciliation
Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Manage payroll operations, processing weekly payroll and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
Reconcile bank accounts and perform journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial data
Utilize accounting tools such as QuickBooks Online to track job costing and financial transactions
Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analyses to support budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations, including preparation and filing of sales tax, 1099s, W-2s, and payroll reports
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and guidance
Maintain the general ledger and oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
Monitor job profitability and provide insights to support operational decisions
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience preferred
Minimum of three years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting
Proficiency in ERP systems such as QuickBooks Online, SAP, Oracle and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
Experience with bank reconciliations and journal entries
Knowledge of tax compliance and reporting requirements at both state and federal levels
Ability to work independently with exceptional attention to detail
