Accountant

• Regularly monitor bank accounts and inform the Clark team and HK Controller of received payments
• generate daily bank statement reports and share findings with Clark and HK Controller to identify receipts/payments
• prepare reports on monthly amounts received from principals and public expenses for submission to the bank
• input financial entries into the Accounting System for bank transactions, clearing accounts, and expense records
• prepare payment transactions for salaries and vendor invoices
• facilitate and record transactions related to credit and debit card expenses
• coordinate with the Clark team to ensure accuracy of funding requests
• communicate with the sales team and other relevant stakeholders regarding payment statuses
• update HR and other departments regarding salary payments
• conduct reconciliations between Accounting System transactions and bank statements
• generate AP reports from Accounting System twice a month
• staff contact banks for cash requests and assist in preparing documentation for cash collections

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or previous experience in an accounting setting required
• 2-5 years’ experience, preferably in accounting role
• analytical and technical aptitude with strong attention to detail
• oral and written communication in English and Japanese languages is a must
• ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
• strong communication skills, interacting and collaborating with cross-functional teams
• team player
