Robert Half is seeking an experienced Accountant to support our client in the Concord area and be the sole Accountant for this small company environment. This Accountant/Manager role is integral to overseeing the company's financial operations, HR and compliance, ensuring the organization runs efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports to support organizational decision-making
Oversee and maintain general ledger activities, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, month end close, and financial statement preparation
Work with the auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy
Develop, manage, and monitor the organization's budget to align with financial goals
Review and negotiate vendor service agreements to optimize organizational resources
Manage all human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, benefits administration, and employee relations
Handle additional tasks and projects as needed to support organizational objectives
Requirements:
At least 3+ years of experience in financial management for an organization
Non profit accounting required
Experience managing the Accounting & Finance and Operations for a small company
Knowledge of payroll would be a plus
Strong communication, leadership, and team-building abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload in a dynamic environment
