This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in accounting to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and analysis, as well as the ability to handle complex accounting tasks with precision and attention to detail.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address accounting issues and improve processes
  • Utilize technical accounting knowledge to resolve complex financial challenges
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Apply sound judgment in ambiguous situations to ensure effective problem-solving
  • Maintain strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands
  • Communicate effectively through written and oral channels to build relationships and share information

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Proven ability to perform month-end close activities and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice to have:

  • CPA certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech start-up or similar environment
