Job Description

Accountant Receivable position at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale, responsible for financial record keeping, cash management, and accounts receivable functions while delivering luxury hospitality standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash and cash equivalents
  • Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data
  • Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
  • Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices
  • Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash
  • Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances
  • Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • No supervisory experience required
  • No license or certification required
