Job Description:

This position is based in Maputo and reports directly to the Manager Margin Accounting. The position is responsible for ensure all Direct expenses are accounted accurately including Bad Debt Provision in accordance with Vodafone Group Policy and IFRS.

Job Responsibility:

  • Financial month-end process for the Revenue & Direct expenditure
  • Providing comprehensive commentary for month-end results to be used during the WD2 and WD3 reviews of the P&L with the FD, HoFo and Finance Executives
  • Preparation of accurate Balance Sheet reconciliations in line with Vodafone requirements for accounts under your control and ensuring timeous clearance of reconciling and aged items
  • Fulfillment of finance operational tasks

Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree in Marketing, Finance, Computer Science (or experience) required
  • Experience in IFRS interpretation as well as practical application within business
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in Finance, specifically telecommunications
