Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operations Finance Analyst to oversee finance operations, reporting and compliance, for our Japan business unit. This role provides critical financial insights, ensures regulatory adherence, and supports strategic decision-making in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and drive month end closing process meeting timeline and reporting deliverables
  • Oversee outsourced finance service providers and ensure SLA compliance
  • Develop and maintain robust financial controls and ensure reporting integrity
  • Prepare, review, and reconcile financial statements in alignment with JGAAP and IFRS
  • Responsible for consolidation of Japan Group accounts
  • Lead audit and tax, coordinate with external consultants, and ensure timely regulatory submissions
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks while ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Enhance finance processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Lead or drive process streamlining efforts for Finance workstreams
  • Support system implementations, automating reporting and reconciliation
  • Document SOPs to ensure operational consistency and best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive cost savings and workflow optimization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, CA or CPA
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial operations and reporting
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • In-depth knowledge of JGAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance requirements

Nice to have

Industry experience in real estate, TMK structure and familiarity with Oracle NetSuite
