Job Description

We are looking for an Accountant to support global consolidation and financial reporting activities for international operations. This long-term contract position focuses on reviewing subsidiary submissions, resolving reporting issues, and helping maintain accurate, compliant financial data across multiple entities. The role is well suited for an accounting specialist who can work collaboratively with regional teams while improving documentation, consistency, and reporting processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Examine monthly and quarterly financial packages from international subsidiaries to confirm accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting standards
  • Evaluate supporting schedules and supplemental reporting data, identifying discrepancies and following through on questions with regional contacts
  • Partner with finance teams and corporate stakeholders to address submission issues and provide guidance on accounting and reporting matters
  • Prepare analyses related to intercompany balances, unusual transactions, and other consolidation matters that affect financial results
  • Strengthen internal workflows by updating procedures, refining documentation, and recommending more efficient reporting practices
  • Build productive working relationships with controllers, local accounting personnel, and corporate functions
  • Share knowledge across the team by assisting with cross-training and supporting coverage of core departmental responsibilities
  • Contribute to special assignments and ad hoc financial projects as business needs evolve

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Experience with financial statement review, account analysis, and consolidation activities in a corporate or international environment
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles
  • Ability to research reporting questions, interpret data, and resolve issues with attention to detail
  • Strong written documentation and communication skills for coordinating with global stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools used to manage submissions and reconciliations
  • Capable of handling multiple deadlines across monthly and quarterly reporting cycles
