Our client is seeking a skilled Accountant II to contribute to their finance and accounting operations. This position is ideal for candidates with proven experience in general ledger management, financial reporting, and process improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and post journal entries, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Support preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP
Analyze account variances and support budget and forecasting activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure accurate financial data
Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices for efficiency
Assist with internal and external audits
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
