Prestigious company located in the South Philadelphia area is looking to hire a full-time Accountant Full Charge Bookkeeper who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including working within both automation and manual systems processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger transactions, bank reconciliations, sales tax returns, and vendor invoices. The Accountant Full Charge Bookkeeper will also generate financial statements, resolve vendor issues, maintain daily record keeping, and analyze cash flow. Ideally, we are looking for a numbers driven Accountant Full Charge Bookkeeper with a hands-on approach with a willingness to roll up sleeves and adapt to operations.
Job Responsibility:
Enter and process accounts payable/receivable activities
Process and generate vendor invoices
Maintain general ledger
Account/Bank Reconciliations
Perform sales tax returns
Assist with audits and provide documentation needed
Generate financial reports
Support budgeting and cash flow tracking
Maintain internal financial controls and procedures
Prepare financial statements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years’ experience within a small company as Full Charge Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant level
Residential Construction industry experience preferred
Intermediate Excel skills
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
