Accountant - Entry Level

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and review account reconciliations to maintain accurate general ledger balances
• Record accounting entries and assist with journal entries to support daily financial operations
• Manage billing processes, including invoice generation and payment tracking
• Support the month-end close process by preparing necessary documentation and reports
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, analyze, and maintain financial spreadsheets
• Collaborate with team members to address financial discrepancies and improve processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational procedures
• Assist in financial reporting to provide insights into the organization's performance

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Expertise in performing bank and account reconciliations
• Familiarity with journal entries and general ledger management
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis
• Knowledge of billing processes and month-end close procedures

Experience in the retail industry is a plus
