We are looking for an entry-level Accountant to join our team in Pine Brook, New Jersey. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering a fantastic opportunity for growth and career development. Job Responsibility:
Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment tracking
Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making
Perform reconciliations for bank accounts and other financial records
Record and maintain accounting entries in compliance with company policies
Utilize Sage 100 software for accounting operations and data management
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial workflows
Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records
Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
Requirements:
Familiarity with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Experience with bank and account reconciliations
Proficiency in creating and managing accounting entries
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Hands-on experience with Sage 100 or similar accounting software
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
