Job Responsibility

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Perform account reconciliations (cash, intercompany, etc.)
  • Record journal entries, accruals, and general ledger activity
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Review and analyze property-level financials from third-party managers
  • Import and reconcile financial data within Yardi
  • Support project accounting, including job costing and WIP tracking
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Support audit, tax, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with 1099 reporting and related filings
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting accuracy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of accounting experience (flexible for strong candidates)
  • Real estate, construction, or project-based accounting experience required
  • Proficiency with Yardi highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger, and reconciliations
  • Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity structures is a plus
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a growing environment
