Accountant/consultant

• Preparation of financial statements for local governments in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Work on Agreed Upon Procedures (AUP) reports, internal auditing, cash reconciliations, and a variety of other service areas specific to governmental entities
• Prepare financial statements for Ohio local governments
• May require limited travel within the State of Ohio

• Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Leadership ability and self-starter
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and work to deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate with management and work as a team
• A desire to become an expert in governmental accounting
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Word
• The flexibility to travel within the State of Ohio to perform duties as assigned

CPA or ability to obtain CPA license preferred
