To support the financial operations of an organization by performing essential accounting tasks, such as maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable. Accountant Clerk ensures compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, facilitates timely and accurate reporting, and provides necessary documentation for audits. This role is vital for maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting overall financial management within the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor and record fixed assets and ensure proper depreciation calculations
Process expense reports and reimbursements for employees
Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to ethical standards
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all transactions
Process invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including tracking outstanding payments
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
Reconcile bank statements with accounting records on a regular basis
Update and maintain the general ledger and subsidiary accounts
Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with tax regulations
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data
Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory documents as required
Support the internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Conduct periodic audits of financial transactions to identify errors or irregularities
Provide support during financial audits by preparing documentation and answering questions

Requirements:
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
a bachelor's degree is preferred
1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role
familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SAP, POS, or similar platforms)
basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office applications
experience with accounts payable and receivable processes
good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks
ability to work independently and as part of a team
