As a Global Lease Accountant, you’ll play a pivotal role within our Global Business Solutions team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight across complex lease accounting processes. This isn’t just about managing numbers — it’s about solving problems, collaborating across finance and non-finance teams worldwide, and strengthening the controls that keep our business future-ready.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and review manual journals related to lease activity, ensuring accuracy and strong supporting documentation
  • Complete assigned lease account reconciliations in Blackline within established deadlines
  • Partner with local country finance teams, responding to queries quickly and effectively
  • Provide audit support and ensure readiness for both internal and external reviews
  • Support regional and global reporting requirements, including monthly Balance Sheet and P&L flux analysis
  • Drive excellence in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, with a focus on lease accounting
  • Safeguard compliance by ensuring processes align with company policies, audit requirements, and local regulations
  • Contribute to local, regional, and global projects, bringing expertise and collaboration to cross-functional initiatives
  • Champion continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to streamline and elevate lease processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven track record in a multinational environment and/or audit
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to apply it in complex scenarios
  • Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills — diplomatic, flexible, and a “can-do” mindset
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in reporting tools including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/CPA

Nice to have

  • Experience with JDE, Blackline, Alteryx, and W-Desk is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
  • Flexibility to work additional hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) and, on rare occasions, public holidays
